Ackworth Sampler Frame

Distinctive medallions appear repeatedly in samplers worked in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries by the Quaker students of Ackworth School in England. Rie Ariga of Tokyo, Japan, adapted these medallions for a novel photo frame that will delight the twenty-first century needleworker.
